Madeline after prayer – Third row started
What can I say – it’s been a long time since the last update, but this project is going to take years to finish and I don’t want to fill the blog with lots of updates that all look very similar. Here’s where I am at the moment:
The windows take me a month each time I go past them and makes me put the cross stitch down for a bit. The headboard (on the lower left-hand side) took me only 2 weeks by comparison. It’s an absolute nightmare 🙂
Just to put things into context, there are 14 and a bit (portrait orientation) pattern pages per row and a total of 12 rows, with an individual pattern page looking like this:
So, wish me luck – I think that I am going to go insane before I finish this! 🙂
Looks great, beautiful colors and details.
Looks amazing so far. You inspired me to pick up cross stitching again and I am currently working on my own piece. I understand completely all time and work you are putting into these. Just looking at all the different colours you are using in this is exhausting. Good luck and keep up the great work.
I admire your work so much. You are truly an inspiration to me. I would love to b able to watch you at work as you obviously have it down to a science! My projects are such a mess with thread/yarn everywhere. Keep posting! And thanks so mich for sharing. Oh, love the sheep pen by the way!
